Let client know up front what to expect from your service or product, how long it will take to be delivered, and what their rights are as a client. This way, there are no surprises down the line and client know exactly what to expect. It’s also important to be proactive in anticipating challenges and informing client in advance. For example, if you know that you won’t be able to deliver within a client desired timeframe, let them know upfront and offer a solution.
