How a Craft Brewery is Showcasing their Community by Highlighting Local Artists
Video is currently the most engaging, shareable storytelling medium. It can be used in many ways to share ideas, demonstrate concepts and even build a community of fans. That's what one craft brewery set out to do in a series of videos about the local artists that helped them build their taproom.
Casey Holley of Able Seedhouse and Brewery had the vision to leverage the local artisan community in the Northeast Arts District of Minneapolis where his brewery is located. He wanted to thank these vendor-partner artisans by showcasing their talents in a series of videos called "Building Able."
At Mastcom, we recently released the first video in this series on Keith Wyman and his company, Concrete Pig, who built the pub tables at Able using a unique combination of timber and concrete:
By having the artist explain where he gets his inspiration and show him creating the tables, Able is giving its viewers keen insight to the building of the brewery and a perfect reason to stop in, sit at one of these unique tables and enjoy an Able Brew.
