HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN?

Last Sunday I watched a movie about one famous French singer who, once upon a time, was rich and famous, then lost his fortune and became homeless and ate from the garbage canes…
He was a gifted singer but had no common sense when it comes to money and thought that he didn’t need to “manage his money” because he could “buy any accountant and adviser” to do this for him.
Well… this didn’t work out very well for him.
Then I came across an?article on yahoo about a “working homeless” couple?that lives in a tent for 5 months because they cannot afford rent of $1200…
I don’t know about you, but stories like that infuriate and sadden me at the same time.
How could this happen that a working couple lives in a tent in one of the most developed countries in the world?!
By the way, this is in no way a judgement of these people.
It’s just really sad and… I believe, avoidable!
It’s avoidable when you don’t allow your money problems?get out of control and go from temporary to permanent.
Temporary money problems?are "money lessons" and happen to most people at some point in life.
Chronic money problems?are a symptom of a few things – from sabotaging money habits, to poverty mind programming, to poor self-image and lack of ambition, to lack of money management skills, to apathy…
Apathy happens when you stop trying to change your money situation because you don’t believe it’s possible for you not to struggle with money.
You stop looking for a job or stop reaching out to potential clients.
You stop researching your options.
You stop looking for solutions.
You don’t ask for help and descend into a powerful downward spiral that is not easy to get out of.
I’ve been there and know how it feels.
SCARY and HOPELESS.
You don’t want this to happen to you.
It’s always easier to prevent an illness than to treat it, right?
The same rationale applies to money.
And the easiest way to avoid “chronic money problems” is to be intentional and savvy with your money.
I know that a LOT of people want to improve their money situation and are looking for solutions to their money problems.
They don’t want to experience anxiety every time they receive unexpected medical bills, or pay for a dinner with friends, or pay for a car repairs.
