Conveyor rollers are necessary parts in conveying equipment. Their structure is relatively simple, so conveyor rollers can flexibly adjust their positions and form different conveying routes according to the site and transportation requirements. The applications of rollers in conveying equipment vary.

1. Application of unpowered rollers. Unpowered rollers need to rely on manpower or the gravity of objects for conveying. The conveying interval of this type of roller line is generally short. It is usually used to transport objects with a flat bottom. If irregular-shaped goods need to be transported, they should be placed in pallets or transport boxes for transportation.

2. Application of powered rollers. Powered rollers can also be called chain drives. Because they rely on the power output of the motor to transport objects, they are called powered rollers. Powered rollers are often used in the transportation of food, packaging, electrical appliances and other goods in industry.

Among the powered rollers, according to the different requirements of the conveyed objects, they can be divided into transmission rollers, redirection rollers, accumulation rollers, etc.

1) Transmission rollers. This type of roller can meet the requirements of straight or arc-shaped route transportation of objects.

2) Redirection rollers. The redirecting roller is used to change the running direction of the conveyor belt, which can meet the needs of sorting items, changing the transportation route, etc.

3) Accumulation roller. During the transportation process, there is often a situation where too much goods are piled up, and the roller that continuously rotates on the conveyor belt will rub against the goods, causing the goods to wear. The accumulation roller can solve this problem very well. The roller body of the accumulation roller can stop rotating as the goods accumulate, and because the connection between the accumulation roller and the drive gear is different from that of other rollers, the entire conveyor belt will not be affected by the accumulation roller and continue to operate.
