How to convert your e-commerce store to WhatsApp Shop
WhatsApp is committed to giving merchants commerce tools that help them grow their businesses. We found that businesses need easy and focused solutions to showcase their goods and services.
Business users will no longer be able to show their storefront on the WhatsApp Business app. Our new default commerce course will be catalogs on the WhatsApp Business app.
Your Shop storefront on Facebook or Instagram will not be affected by this change. You can still add people from your Facebook Shop on WhatsApp.
Setting up a catalog
##. Users with a catalog before connecting to the storefront
If you had a catalog on WhatsApp before Shop was integrated with the storefront, your catalog will revert to the state it was in before hiding. Any products added to your shop's storefront after integration into the WhatsApp Business app will not be transferred.
Read this article to change your shop settings.
If you have a shop, you can connect it to your Instagram or Facebook Page in Commerce Manager.
Before you begin
?If you already have a Page or account:
?1. Make sure your Page or account isn't associated with an existing Commerce account.
?2. You'll need permission to manage your Page.
?3. If you control your Page or catalog in a Business Manager account, you must be an admin on that account.
?4. If you have a shop on Instagram, you must run both your Instagram business account and your Page in the same Business Manager account.
Connect an Instagram or Facebook page to your shop
?To connect your shop's page or account:
?1. Go to Business Manager and select your product.
?2. Click Settings on the left menu.
?3. Click Construction Assets.
?4. In the Sales Channels section, you can view the current accounts page or create a new account.
Your shop will not appear on your Page or account until you publish it in Shop Builder. Look for your new connection on the Shops tab in Business Manager. Click Edit Purchase to change your purchase in the builder. Then click Publish Purchase to make it visible.
You can detach your Page or change your shop's visibility in your Companies assets.
Note: You cannot disconnect from the page you used to set up your shop. To disconnect from the page you used to set up your shop, you must deactivate your commerce account and create a new one.
##. Users who were not already connected to the Shops storefront
If you have not integrated with WhatsApp before using the Shops storefront, your storefront will not appear on the WhatsApp Business app. We recommend that you create content on WhatsApp so people can see your products and services.
This article provides a tutorial on how to create and place a storefront. Add something to your catalog
?1. Go to More options, go to Settings-> Business tools->Catalog.
?* If you're creating new products, tap Add new product.
?2. Click Add images.
?3. Tap Camera to take new images or tap Gallery to upload your photos. You can upload at least ten images.
?4. Enter the name of the product or service and optional details (e.g. 1. price, 2. description, 3. website link). Device or service code
?Click Save.
Note: Every photo uploaded to the catalog is reviewed to confirm that the photo, product, or service complies with the WhatsApp Business Messaging Rules.
An approved product or service is automatically added to the catalog. However, a red exclamation mark will appear next to the image if it is rejected.
If you think your item has been unfairly rejected, you can appeal the decision:
?1. Tap Rejected content
?2. Click Request for second review.
?3. Please explain why.
?4. Press Continue.
If you've reviewed the WhatsApp Business Messaging policy and your appeal has been rejected, tell us about your request and reply.

Hide catalog content
Tap More options->Settings->Business tools->Catalog.
You can hide items in bulk or hide them individually.
1. Tap the item to hide it on the product detail page. Then, go to Options, Hide, then tap Hide.
2. Press and hold the item until a green check mark appears to hide it in bulk. Then, click another item you want to hide -> Hide catalog items -> Hide.
Notes: Items hidden with Hide catalog items on the item image will still appear in your Catalog Manager. A note about hiding this item appears on the product detail page.
Unhide catalog items
?1. Go to More options, go to Settings->Business tools->Catalog.
?2. You can unhide items in bulk or individually.
I. To unhide a single item, open the product details page by tapping the item.
II. Then, go to More options, go to Unhide.
To unhide an item in bulk, press and hold it. Then, tap the other items you want to unhide; Unhide catalog items; and then Unhide.
Create and maintain collections in your catalog
To make it easier for customers to find the goods and services they want, you can create collections in your catalog. Learn more about collection management and production.
Exclude any product or service from your catalogue
?1. Go to More options, go to Settings, go to Business tools and tap Catalogue.
?2. Touch and hold the picture of the item or service.
?3. Touch the Delete icon, then touch Delete.
Optionally select the picture of the product or service you want to remove. Then go to Options, tap Delete.
