How to control the anger?

1. Stop thinking about the problem at first.

The root cause of angriness is when somebody thinks about a problem that might be in different forms, such as a person, an incident or a thing. Once you get the trouble out of your mind, that means once you stop thinking about the problem that makes you irritated, your angriness escapes out of your mind almost.

2. Think of the problem as meaningless.

If you value the problem, your mind gets even more disturbed as you would keep on thinking about the problem. However, if you manage the problem with Ok attitude, i.e., you don't value, or you don't see the problem itself as a problem, your mind would get relaxed automatically, and your anger would get fly away easily.

3. Try to accept the reality

In case you get angry from thinking about the problem, try to accept the nature of the problem. Admitting the facts and realities of the situation that makes you angry, your mind adopts a state where you don't feel the existence of the problem. Thereby, your angriness would go away.

4. Take the problem optimistically

Our mind works in a two-compartment way, one in a positive and the other in a negative way. When you see the problem in a negative or pessimistically, it adds even more heat to your worries and provides more angriness to your mind. So, taking things optimistically would calm your mind from angriness and would lead you to find a solution to your problem.

5. Find a way to cool your mind

Whenever you feel angry, try to find a way through which your mind can get elevated. Try to get a conversation with your humour-filled friend immediately, or go for a nature walk with headphones on your ear. Finding a way that makes you cool can bring peace and calmness to your mind and would boost you from angriness.

6. Try to evaluate yourself

During the state of angriness, your mind would fluctuate about you and the people around you. You would care about others' opinions, or you would value your surrounding people's views. This might provide an unsteadiness or weak mind. So, self-realization and self-valuing during the heavy state of angriness would bring you to a stage where you do not care about others and feel free to explore things. At last, you will find peace.

7. Wither away your grudge

Withering away your grudge against others would make you free to 99.9 per cent. Forgiveness is an extremely effective strategy. Allowing anger and other bad emotions to overpower happy emotions might lead to you being swept up by your own bitterness or sense of unfairness. Forgiving someone who has irritated you might help you learn from the experience while also strengthening your bond.

8. It's okay to take a break

Allow yourself to take brief pauses throughout stressful times of the day. A few seconds of silence may help you feel more equipped to deal with whatever comes your way without becoming irritated or upset.

9. Adopt an "I" attitude

Criticizing or assigning blame may only add to the stress. Instead, describe the issue with "I" sentences. Respectful and specific communication is essential. Instead of saying, "You never do any housework," say, "I'm disappointed that you left the table without offering to help with the dishes."
