How To Continue Carving Your Own Path - The Cream of Life

You are in a dark space, floating. And not floating in a good way. It's in a way like you are between heaven and hell and a million thoughts are coming at you, most of them negative. There is nothing to see in front of you. You basically don't have eyes. Just feelings.
This dark pathway is for the brave. The courageous. The lions who are willing to sit in the unknown, sometimes for years, sometimes angry and unkempt. What will carry you through, you ask? Patience and Love.
You will want to give up most days. You will wonder, what if I just live on a farm or move to a small town? What if I just quit because I hate everyone. But it is quite the opposite. Your love is so strong. So strong that you want the love of others. And achieving what you achieve will get you this right? Maybe. Beyond this you need to find a WHY so pure, so true, that you will keep going even if you die trying. Even if no one ever gets to hear about what you tried to achieve.
For me, my why is to help the other people like me. To create content whether it be films or books that will help them keep going in their journey of life. What if no one ever sees a single thing I create? Well hopefully that is impossible since we have social media. But there is a chance I won't reach the millions I want to reach. I choose not to believe this, but I am open to this possibility. I guess I just have to remember if I inspire even one person, even if I never know about it, I have done my mission.
When you find your WHY, you will be able to push through, even on the hardest days. Even if you almost quit, that is ok! We all go through that. BUT DON'T. Write your why all over, that way you will remember why you are putting yourself through this agony! There is a quote I heard recently that really resonated with me in a deep way. I am not sure I understand it fully but I know it relates to this and I hope it will spark something in you as well.
"Your brain is made to think about difficult things. To help you get to a point where you understand something that you didn't understand at first. And that becomes the cream of your life." - Haruki Murakami, First Person Singular

I don't really know what I am doing or where I am going. But I will keep going. I will keep experimenting and doing. Even if I fail, I will follow that little voice inside of me, in the faith that one day...it will lead me to the cream of my life.
