I’m excited to share another extra special episode of Negotiate Anything!
I find that many of my listeners enjoy hearing some of the more organic conversations I have with others in the field, and so every now and then I like to give our listeners a peek behind the curtain!?
Anuj Jagannathan ?? is not only a great friend of mine, but he’s also an author and one of our incredible expert trainers at the American Negotiation Institute.?
It had been a while - so we took some time to catch up and talk through some of our biggest lessons in the world of negotiation.?
In this episode, Anuj shares how he got into the field, his motivation to begin teaching the fundamental skills to children (in addition to adults), and the importance of cultural awareness to successful negotiations.
I highly recommend listening in! Check it out and share your comments below! What other behind the scenes content would you like to see?

2 年Authentic Gems: Negotiation is multifaceted and so are the paths to learning and applying the art. Direct observation is a cost-effective way to learn about negotiation. As a matter of fact, it's free! Taking a humanistic approach to learning and training will improve engagement and awareness in negotiation. Don't exclude children! The earlier they learn the skill the better. Just make the negotiation relatable, interactive and fun. Adults want that too! Using Kahoot at the next arbitration is a no ?? but for kids they'll love it. Rapport-building varies across cultures. Cultural awareness should lead you to be inclined to make modifications when dealing with that culture. I like that.
