How to communicate your vision?

This year me and my team have had the fortune of working with dozens of incredible brands and so many fantastic individuals.
Almost everything that happened in 2020 was unexpected (including my Corona-wedding!). But the unexpected doesn’t have to be bad. It can be incredibly life-changing.
Every client we work with is different and so are their needs and goals but one thing they all have in common: They want to communicate their vision (a business, a conference, a book, a product launch etc.) to a specific audience.
One of the hardest things to do, is to communicate your vision to someone who has never heard of you or your idea before. Especially in today's world, when all of us get flooded with information, pitches and ideas almost 24/7.
The first thing we do with each of our clients is to let them tell us everything about their brand, their vision and how they came up with the idea. Who are THEY? What do they want to communicate and to WHOM?
Then we do a lot of research, look at everything they tried before (press releases, blog posts, their website, their social media etc). Finally, we come up with a strategy. Set clear milestones and create a plan of action.
Once this process is done, we create a headline that summarizes the vision in ONE SENTENCE. This is extremely helpful. If your vision doesn't fit into a single headline then it's too complicated. Keep refining your message until it's short and to the point.
