Hello Dear Believer,
Thank you for subscribing to the Believers Business Class newsletter.
............
God does not intend for you to be crushed and weighed down by the difficult situations that you encounter in life.
According to the scripture in 1 Corinthians 10:13 (TPT), God always prepares a way out of every difficult situation.
That verse of scripture says: We all experience times of testing, which is normal for every human being. But God will be faithful to you. He will screen and filter the severity, nature, and timing of every test or trial you face so that you can bear it. And each test is an opportunity to trust him more, for along with every trial God has provided for you a way of escape that will bring you out of it victoriously.
One important thing you must understand is that difficult situations are part of the growth process of every believer.
Having said that, let us take a look at Mark 10:47-52 to study the events that led to the healing of a man known as Blind Bartimaeus.
1. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.
?And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me (Mark 10:47-48).
The first thing you should do is to go to God in prayer and ask for mercy like Blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus did.
Mercy is a spiritual technology put in place by God, which moves him to stay his hand of judgment and also, legally override any unfavourable situation.
Ask God to show you mercy and grant you wisdom on how to handle the difficult situation you are facing.
James 1:5 says If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Mercy always gets the attention of God and gives impetus for the divine favour of God to be released (Psalm 102:13).
2. Jesus always answers a cry for mercy. The Bible lets us know that he will not cast away anyone that calls on his name.
In Mark 10:48, we see this playout. The scripture says: And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.
Jesus is described as the word made flesh in John 1:14, and so it is important to note that you will be pointed first to a word in the Bible for you to encounter Jesus.
When you pray for a breakthrough of any kind, much more than providing the answer, God wants you to build stature to be able to:
3. Mark 10:50 says And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus. When you find the word for your situation in the bible, take it back to God and praise him.
Thank him for showing you mercy by revealing his wisdom to solve the difficulty. Like Bartimaeus, cast away the attitude of complaining and murmuring.
The mistake many people make is that they jump out immediately they get the word.
Jesus speaking in John 5:39-40, highlights something important. He said: Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

The ability to accurately decipher the scripture and customise the solution to suit your situation is released when you take the word back to God and praise him for his revelation.
And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole - Luke 17:17-19
It is important that you do not allow yourself to be weighed down by the circumstances around you.
Apostle Paul, speaking of Abraham and how he overcame his own difficult situation in Romans 4:20, said: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
Praise God despite the prevailing situation and you will see him show up on your behalf in that situation.
4. Put together a short confession that succinctly describes the outcome you desire based on what God has shown to you in the scriptures or has communicated to you while you were praising him.
Let us take for example that sales have been slow. You can put together a short confession that says; Based on the word of God to me in Isaiah 60:3, I thank you Jesus because customers have begun to patronise my business and refer our products to others in and beyond Nigeria. I consistently surpassed the monthly sales target of $1m which I set at the beginning of the year.
Ensure that you make out time every morning and evening to read the confession out loud to yourself.
And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight - Mark 10:51.
5. Use your mind's eyes to visualise/imagine what your confession "looks" like in reality. Take in and store the feeling of fulfilment and joy that comes with achieving your goal(s) as you visualise.
Always pull up this picture from your mind's storage drive and relive the emotions anytime you are praising God.
6. As you keep praising God, making your confession and actively visualising, be ready to unlearn and relearn because instructions that carry your solution might come through a book, an idea or even a discussion with people.
The Bible in Mark 10:50 shows that he put away his garment.
In other words, he had to let go of the baggage, experience, and excuses that either brought him to that point in life or that kept him blinded from seeing the solution.
When you encounter any difficult situation, especially if it lingers for long, it points to your inability or refusal to discover and see the right way out.
You have to pay attention during this period to know when the solution shows up like Blind Bartimaeus in Mark 10:47.
7. When the wisdom or the solution shows up, the only thing required of you is to get up and go.
Sometimes as you set out it will not be clear. Just launch out in faith based on the word of God backing the situation.
I pray that the God of all Grace will give you strength to overcome in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen!
