How Come Both Pole Ice Caps Stick to the Earth Axis Instead of Rotating Off to the Equator ?

How Come Both Pole Ice Caps Stick to the Earth Axis Instead of Rotating Off to the Equator ?

It is complicated ...

Climate change professionals are voting on this subject :

We will see next week what CCD="Climate Change Democracy" can say but ...

  • On Antarctic kilometers thickness of pole ice is sitting on antarctic land so there it is obvious that antarctic pole ice sticks to the antarctic land.
  • On the Arctic pole the ice floats on water so there it is not obvious that the pole ice cap sticks to the earth axis.

Every summer the 14 million square kilometer arctic winter sea ice melts down to about 4 million square kilometers arctic summer sea ice floating on water without connection to other land than Greenland.

So Greenland keeps the arctic pole ice cap steady on the north pole ?

Anyway

In climate science there are too many unanswered questions and too many unquestioned answers ...

But : Health & Climate & Energy are really very complicated and delicate politico-scientific stuff and also socio-economic stuff but we do the best we can and try to explain it as simple as possible but not simpler than that in the group :

CCR="Climate Change Revival.

Less sun radiation ON poles, couldest places on earth?
