How Co-Active Coaching helps me to deal with stress and feel more optimistic
Just like most of us I am in my 3rd week of ‘Quarantine’. How does it look like? Well, together with my colleagues at Schouten Global I am working hard to support our clients and keep the company afloat, I am home schooling 2 kids with my wife Eva de Laat while she has to run her fashion company at the same time and I am worried about the health of everybody around me. Sounds familiar I guess. How does it make me feel? Kind of stressed and exhausted! This is what I learned from my Co-Active Coaching journey on how to cope with stress and feel more optimistic:
Fulfillment: focus on what’s truly important for me. The question I ask myself is “what is my goal for when this Corona Crisis is over?”. Never waist a crisis to create change for the better!
Balance: look from different perspectives. Integrate different views on what this crisis can bring to me and set priorities based on what matters to me the most.
Process: accept that there are issues at work and at home. Experience it while its happening and allow emotions just to be there.
This is what keeps me optimistic in these days. What are your tips & tricks? Look forward to hear more. Stay safe and if you want to know more about Co-Active Coaching click on the below link:

4 年Co-Active Coaching definitely helps me in these crazy and intense times. It helps me to change perspectives. To calm my mind and to dance in the moment. My favorite trick is to see the metaphors that nature has to offer. Spring is in the air. Listen to the sound of the birds. Look at the trees. What can we learn from a forest? Trees survive storms. And we survive this period. Together. #sterkmakers
