How CMEs Influence the Prescription Behaviour of Doctors? | Pre-event Press Release

Prescription decisions are influenced by a variety of elements related to the workplace and outside environment. Whether pediatricians, dentists, general practitioners, gynecologists, or consulting physicians, the vast majority of medical professionals concurred that three key activities—customer relationship management, sponsorship, and medical representatives' product knowledge—influenced their decision to write prescriptions.

Pharmaceutical companies attempt to influence the prescribing choices of prescribers.? Pharma firms typically engage in face-to-face detailing, offer medicine samples, offer written documentation, schedule meetings, plan drug launches, and support ongoing medical education.

Practitioners have relied on continuing medical education (CME) since the 1950s to stay current on changing healthcare standards, and nearly every state requires a certain number of CME credits as a condition of re-licensure. Everyone acknowledges that CME is essential to the profession, to put it briefly.

In order to further explore this topic, PharmaState Academy and Omnicuris are teaming up to present a live interactive session titled "How CMEs Influence the Prescription Behaviour of Doctors?" This discussion will advance our understanding of how continuing medical education affects prescribing practices.

Prior to the webinar, PharmaState Academy conducted three polls over the last week to gain a better understanding of practical prescription behavior insights.

"Do you believe that Scientific CMEs assist Pharma Marketing and Sales Teams in influencing Doctors' Prescription Behaviour?" PharmaState Academy addressed and polled participants on the question, with 69.3% of those polled responding "yes."
