How clean is the AIR in your home during 'Covid-19 Lockdown'?
B.G.I Ltd is so proud of MD, Matt's son Tom Hunt, 14 who during 'lockdown' has written a book on the subject of indoor air pollution.
Tom and his Labrador Bagheera (Baggy) broke new ground earlier this year when Tom came up with the idea to attach an 'Atmotube' hand held air pollution monitor to Baggy's collar and test levels around their hometown of Chesham.
The shocking results showed that Baggy's collar reading (measuring at the same as pushchair height) was so much worse than higher up, whichis where the Environment Agency puts its own monitors.
This led to a campaign which attracted the attention of major news outlets, including ‘The Times’ which is running it's own air pollution campaign.
Baggy and Tom also appeared on 'BBC Newsround' and 'Crufts' before the pandemic forced everyone into lockdown.
With school closed and a lot of time on his hands Tom decided to start measuring air pollution inside too, and found that there are lots of changes we can make indoors to help keep our lungs healthy particularly when there is a virus about.
