"I get it! Videos are more fun, buying from videos is more exciting, discovering products on videos on social is a lot more likely to happen than a search. How can I make the most of my videos?"?

If you are an ecommerce business looking for a video commerce solution, how can you navigate the options you have? What are the questions you need to ask? Here is a checklist.

  • Does the tool you are looking at, require you to setup and maintain a parallel store/inventory aside from the one you have? It is no fun maintaining multiple stores and keeping inventory in sync.
  • If yes, how much time will you end up maintaining the two or more systems?

  • What are the distribution destinations for your shoppable video content? Is it just your website?

  • On Amazon prime days, hardly anyone was watching Amazon live shopping. There has been a significant number of searches and activity on Tiktok for Amazon Prime day sale. What does this say? Your discoverability on social media matters. Does your video commerce technology include social media integration? If yes, Is it frictionless for your users?
