1, cast iron pulley:

Cast iron has good shock absorption and pressure resistance, and is generally used for cranes with small tonnage, low working level or infrequent use of equipment;

Cast iron pulley production process is simple, wide range of raw materials, the price is relatively cheap;

2, cast steel pulley:

Higher density, high hardness, high wear resistance, strong corrosion resistance, strong bearing capacity. Light weight. Because the density of cast steel pulleys is lower than that of cast iron, cast steel pulleys of the same size are much lighter than cast iron pulleys.

Cast steel pulley and wire rope wear will be more serious;

Cast steel pulley relative to cast iron pulley toughness is better, lighter weight, generally used for large tonnage cranes and metallurgical cranes. It is mostly used in heavy and special working conditions.

The process of cast steel pulley is complicated and the cost is high.

Forging pulley

Hot rolled pulley: light weight, about 40% lighter than cast steel pulley of the same specification; Good processing performance, easy installation, wear resistance, can extend the life of pulley and wire rope 1-2 times; Short manufacturing cycle (10-20 times higher efficiency than casting pulley)

Welding pulley

Steel plate pulley: welding pulley light weight, low product scrap rate, convenient maintenance, economy is better than casting pulley, but because of the deformation caused by welding in the pulley, the steel wire rope with it is worn, the service life is shortened accordingly.

Nylon pulley

1, light weight, easy to install at high altitude.

2, good wear resistance, long service life.

3, protect the wire rope, prolong the service life of the wire rope. (Compared with steel pulley, the service life of the wire rope can be extended by 8 times)

4, no friction spark, strong safety performance.

5, heat resistance, wear resistance, chemical resistance and self-lubrication, and low friction coefficient, there is a certain flame retardant, therefore, suitable for mechanical work in many special environments.

6, the price is higher
