How to choose the nozzle size of overflow dyeing machine?

The nozzle is one of the key structures of the dye circulation system of overflow dyeing machine. Its function is to make the dye exchange with the fabric and make the fabric absorb dye efficiently and stably. Nozzle structure, temperature, concentration, time and speed of dyeing solution are important factors affecting the quality of dyed fabric.

Overflow dyeing machine can be equipped with several kinds of nozzles with diameters of 50, 70, 80 and 100 mm. Sometimes it can process extra thin or extra thick products according to customers' requirements. The manufacturer of dyeing machine can also provide nozzles ≥ 100 mm or ≤ 50 mm.

In production and processing,

① Light and thin fabrics, such as polyester mosquito net cloth, Barry yarn, spring press spinning, crystal hemp, glossy sweatcloth and thin feather yarn, with a gram weight of 50-100g / m2, it is better to choose 50mm nozzle.

② Polyester viscose medium length wool like fabric, polyester gabardine, crodin, tripe cloth, coral velvet, t / C, / N / C and other blended fabrics, the weight per gram is 150-300g / m2, and 60-70mm nozzle is suitable.

③ For thicker fabrics, such as polyester canvas, terry cloth, polyester and its blended woollen cloth, and general Plaid like products, the weight per gram is about 400 g / m2, and the nozzle of 100 mm should be selected.

④ Extra large nozzles over 100 mm can be selected for extremely heavy fabrics. The diameter of the nozzle is slightly wider than that of the rope like fabric (wet state), so as to prevent the nozzle from being stuck at the seams or knots between the fabrics during the dyeing process.

In addition, the nozzle should be removed carefully. Fix it on the three screws in all directions and check that it does not shake any more. Practice has proved that the length of cloth between pipes should be consistent, and the difference of quality and length between pipes should be controlled within 7% - 10%, so as to avoid pipe difference and cloth blockage.

Great knowledge. I want to ask you that one question is that how we calculate the air flow rate (CFM) through the nozzle, how we calculate the air pressure required for the dyeing machine and how we calculate the capacity of air compressor required for the 50 dyeing machine. Please help me out.
