How to choose extruded boards?

1、 Color

Extruded boards can be directly extruded with pure polystyrene particles or powder, or can be melted with recycled waste plastic foam boards, and then processed. Extruded boards processed with waste materials have many impurities and generally have less pure colors, while extruded boards processed with polystyrene resin have brighter colors.

2、 Vesicular pore

Bubble holes are the key factor determining the insulation performance of extruded panels, and the more uniform the bubble holes, the better the insulation performance.

3、 Fire resistance rating

B1 level is a self extinguishing type that automatically extinguishes after leaving the ignition source, or extinguishes within 3 seconds; The B2 level is a slow burning type, meaning that the fire will not increase after ignition.

4、 Thickness

Choose extruded panels with different thicknesses based on different insulation requirements.
