HOW TO CHECK YOUR NON-MONTHLY PAY PERIODS

How to check non monthly pay period on Sage 300 People

On the Navigation pane:

  1. Expand Company Management
  2. Expand Company Rule
  3. Double-click on The Company Rule you want to check
  4. Select Pay Period Management


Pay periods that are generated correctly:

  • The last pay period of the 2019/2020 tax year is linked to the February calendar month.
  • The first pay period of the 2020/2021 tax year is linked to the March calendar month.
  • Weekly company rules will have a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 5 pay periods linked to each calendar month.
  • Fortnightly company rules will have a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 pay periods linked to each calendar month.
  • There will be no warning icons displayed for any of the generated pay periods.

Examples of Incorrect Pay Periods:

In the example below you will notice that April 2020 has only 3 periods and May 2020 has 6 Periods, once you see the warning signs it is advised to contact support to correct this before you process in those periods.
