What ChatGPT Revealed About Me: A Mix of Facts and Fun

What ChatGPT Revealed About Me: A Mix of Facts and Fun

Today, ChatGPT is officially one year and 123 days old, and I have been prototyping its usage since day 1. It is an amazing and powerful tool – a great addition to your toolkit, not one to rely solely on of course. So, how does this AI language model function even work? ChatGPT generates responses based on training with lots of text data, like books, articles, and websites.

When asked about a specific person, it tries to create detailed and accurate responses using the information provided by the user. It combines details from the Internet about a person's career, achievements, and background. This process involves using the training data to make the responses as relevant and as clear as possible, based on the information it has.

So, after the model had time to learn, I asked it, "Who is Brandie Janow?" and here is what I got. ??

Brandie Janow is a dynamic and influential figure in the creative and business communities, known for her strategic insights, dedication to community building, and commitment to fostering creativity and professional growth.

Using it to look up myself was pretty cool! I found some familiar facts but also some surprising truths that I had not considered. My favorite part was that it knew I was an East Tennessee Appalachian – we are a unique and special cultural group. It even knew a lot of information that I have not shared publicly and new things that have just happened. Although some details may not have been exact, overall, they were fairly accurate. This whole experience reminded me that while AI is a powerful tool, it is always good to verify and reflect on the information it provides.

Regardless of what it says, it was a fun little exercise!

*This is a picture taken of me last year in my town, hope you think it is as beautiful as I do.

Love it Brandie ?? I recently got an assessment of my writing style and apparent areas of expertise and it was insightful and in places definitely warm fuzzy feelings (And I used Lady Whistledown as a compare and contrast which was kind of amusing too)
