Since it came online two weeks ago, #chatgpt has already become an important part of my workflow as a communications consultant. I have used it to brush up emails, alphabetically sort and dedupe a list of spreadsheet items, and write php code to use together with a Twilio studio workflow controlling the behavior of business phone number I use. Just for the fun of it, I just gave it the three prompts below to write summaries for ten episodes of a hypothetical TV miniseries about Marc and his best friend Shippy, a hyperintelligent alien spaceship (I admit, that's always been a fantasy of mine). This is amazing. And hilarious. It took me less than 30 minutes in total to create all this.

Prompt #1:

Write five one-paragraph treatments for five episodes of a TV science fiction miniseries that follows Marc’s relationship and adventures with his best friend Shippy, a hyper-intelligent alien spaceship based on this information: When Marc is 10 years hold, he finds a hyper-intelligent alien spaceship. For example, one time, one of Marc’s best human friend, Betty, is close to finding out, wondering about strange things happening when out in the woods with Marc, like one time when he walked ahead of her and suddenly seemed to disappear in mid-air. Other adventures include flying to the moon to revisit the site of the Apollo 11 landing. Another time, Marc and Shippy fly to Australia to help kids trapped by a forest fire. Another time, Marc helped get a sick child from Africa get to a hospital in Cleveland. When Marc becomes a young adult, Shippy stays with him. Even as he grows old, Shippy is his friend. It has onboard technology to cure Marc of disease and keep him safe. Marc is sometimes feels bad to have access to these abilities while others don’t. Sometimes he wants to share his secret, but Shippy convinces him to keep it a secret.
