How ChatGPT Changed my Daily Work
As many of you I tried ChatGPT for fun, out of curiosity, asking more or less stupid things, challenging the legal limits of the answers. Funny, quite impressive, sometimes limited, but quite revolutionary.
Then I started using it to develop Python code .. And my life changed !
In my position, coding requires time, patience, perseverance and a bit of knowledge. Reading the documentation for libraries or APIs, testing, debugging, retrying, changing, resolving errors etc. takes time .. a lots of time if we are busy with other duties calls and meetings. But?#ChatGPT?came and disrupted all the process that I just described .. ChatGPT knows everything about coding, libraries, API, specifications, errors, bugs, best practices .. So we just need to ask !
And this is what I did ... And it worked perfectly, it even exceeded my expectations and somehow changed my life.

So I asked ChatGPT to write #Python scripts requesting Github API transforming the data collected playing with the parameters adding iteratively several functions (keeping the context of the conversation is an amazing added value to iterate your code) .. I even ask ChatGPT to generate the code to integrate our "exchange" in my development environment .. Yes I asked "him" to code for me an IDE plug-in of ChatGPT, and it worked in just 5 minutes ! Maybe just a matter of weeks before?#Microsoft?releases a development AI integrated to Visual Studio
If you have some errors during the compilation or the runtime, no problem, ChatGPT will tell you the reason and propose a solution !
Now I have the time to code, to code very fast to experiment many things, to automate tasks, try "crazy" experiments that I would not had the time to try out. The possibilities are infinite .. And I'll try to reach it.
