How ChatGPT can help your business

I have been investigating the ChatGPT model from OpenAI recently to see how it can help my business. If you haven't heard about it you can google ChatGPT to get more information.

ChatGPT is introduced as follows "We’ve trained a model called ChatGPT which interacts in a conversational way. The dialogue format makes it possible for ChatGPT to answer followup questions, admit its mistakes, challenge incorrect premises, and reject inappropriate requests. ChatGPT is a sibling model to InstructGPT, which is trained to follow an instruction in a prompt and provide a detailed response."

What does that actually mean though to the lay person? ChatGPT allows you to type a request into a screen and it will provide a response. What do you mean I hear you ask!

I typed in "write a play about a good dog" the response is quite astounding:-

Yes it did actually write a 3 act play about a good dog. The dog helps save a child from a mud puddle so he really is Buddy the brave!

So this would be really good if you were a budding playwriter who wanted to get help or inspiration writing a play. Now I hear you ask how can this help my business!

For my business the real world applications can come in many forms:-

A real-time FAQ for my contact centre agents. They can ask any questions about products, order processing, delivery dates any other information they need quickly into the Chat screen and receive the answer. The AI will also learn how to answer new questions with input from other sources.

Help for programmers and software developers. I used ChatGPT to help me with SQL queries and other simple programming requests for Visual Basic, HTML, CSS to name a few.
