How CDT sees the pains of blockchain industry

We all see today how the blockchain industry is developing rapidly. How new sectors of the economy such as NFT pop up out of nowhere and become burgeoning. At the same time, the industry itself is trying to solve its classic problems and adjust its technologies to the growing demands of business and the demands of society. However, the problem indicated by Vitalik in the form of a trilemma has not yet been resolved. It seems to us at CDT, Core Decentralised Technology that one of the basic problems of the blockchain is the principles laid down in the bitcoin whitepaper in 2008. Someone has to support the blockchain, being a validator and working out hashes. And the blockchain must create rewards in financial terms for its validators. Time has shown that the model works, but gives rise to its own entropies - the complexity of use for both developers and end users, hostility from governments, environmental issues. For decentralized ecosystems to flourish, now is the time to address these conflicts
