How can your LI profile show your authenticity?

We all know that our LinkedIn profile is more than just a digital résumé—it’s a reflection of who we are in a season. I believe that our profiles should be authentic-a showcase how our vision for our lives shines through, boldly and uniquely.

My profile? It doesn’t list every single job I’ve ever had. Why? Because I believe in focusing on the season I’m in—the experiences that best highlight my current purpose and passion. I’ve led DEI strategies for billion-dollar company like Amazon, and I’ve also led 4,000 through my K-12 homeschool. You won’t find everything in my work history, but what you will see is a clear, powerful picture of the leadership skill that’s trending in my life right now.

The truth is, we evolve. Our profiles should evolve with us, reflecting not only what we excel at, but how we’ve grown along the way. Whether it’s leadership, creativity, or program management, customer service-the question is: What is your trending skill?

Don’t feel the need to follow the crowd or try to mirror someone else’s version of success. Your LinkedIn profile is your fingerprint—it’s unlike anyone else’s and it shouldn’t be! I’ve learned to embrace how God has uniquely designed my career to serve in each season of my life. When you look at your profile, does it reflect who you’ve become? Are you showcasing the gifts and talent God has given you for this time?

A few authentic items on my profile are 30+ Recommendations, Volunteering and Courses I created. All helped me land lucrative positions and contracts.

So, I challenge you today: take a fresh look at your profile. Does it feel like you? Is it a reflection of the who you’ve become and the one you’re still becoming?
