How Can You Write Professional Content for Branding And Reputation?

?

As an initial step to writing professional content for branding and reputation, you should fetch detailed insights into the concerned brand and its competitors first.

Analyzing genuine statistical data of the brand helps you to find out the pain points of the potential customers and how the brand is helping to resolve those issues.

For instance, consider a toothpaste brand. Here are some easy steps:

  1. Look for Pain points: Try to find out common dental problems that people are facing. It could be - Tooth decay, Gum Disease, Bad Breath, Receding Gums, Sensitive Teeth, etc.
  2. Know what others are doing: Analyze the competitor data to know how they are dealing with these problems through their products and where they are lagging.
  3. Describe your product: Try to figure out how your product is instrumental in getting over those problems and where you score an upper hand over your competitors.

For example, find out the contents of toothpaste of your brand – fluoride, sweeteners, preservatives, thickeners, humectants, detergents, flavoring, etc. Describe how each of these ingredients is effective in solving one or more dental issues. Also, write the instances where your products and their ingredients are better than your rivals.

What are your competitors doing?

While studying your brand is important, knowing about what your competitors are up to is equally important. Try to get a report on its performance in the past one year, one month, etc., and compare the reports with that of your brand.

Pinpoint the instances where your brand is outsmarting the others. If you wish, you could also write a section for ‘room for improvements’ where you could suggest enhancements to the brand in future modifications. But you should discuss this without comparing any specific brand. Your motive is to focus on your brand only, instead of glorifying or degrading other brands.

Get a pictorial representation of the data

Writing about the data report and appealingly representing them are two different things. With technology advancing at the speed of light, you need to keep your visitors glued to the content. A strong dataset could be of immense help in this regard.

You could find relevant and field-specific datasets from numerous sites like:

After downloading and extracting datasets (subject to availability) from any of these sites, you can create attractive and interactive infographics, bar graphs, pie charts, donut charts, tables, etc. using Canva, MS Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and several AI tools.

The resulting content will be a mine of information that is sure to keep your audiences glued right from the introductory paragraph. Just make sure that your content and the data provided aim at accentuating the branding and reputation of your product (or client’s product).
