How Can You Think Better?
Thinking is such a BIG word!
You think because your brain is designed to think, process information, which is primarily negative and fear based. Your brain is a visual instrument with a comparison apparatus. It always need some kind of reference to compare with to understand things and give meaning to things.
Humans have the luxury to think and process critical matter and Critical Thinking is a way to simply THINK BETTER. Thinking better is necessary as thoughts are the seed for action. If you want to do amazing things in life, you have to start with the thought first. An idea becomes a plan and that plan converges into action. So to take quality action, you must nurture quality thoughts in your mind.
When you go through confusion and doubts on what to do and what not to do is because your thoughts are entangled. When you thoughts are messed up, you can't achieve clarity and lack of clarity causes more confusion which leads to stress and depression which entangles your thoughts more. You see now you are stuck in this negative spiral which with time will only become harder to break free from. NEVER ignore these spirals. Pay attention and attain to them. You need to! Take help of experts if you feel that you are taking long time to fix this spiral issue.
Humans with the help of technology are able to achieve great things but have failed miserably to control their own thoughts. Please understand that controlling your own thoughts doesn't mean numbing your mind with medications, alcohol, or drugs.
So here are the ways you can think better: -
EAT HEALTHY: You think like the food you eat. The more junk you eat, the more junk you think. Your brain is is hungry for nutrients and consumes more than 20% of the body energy. So eat more green and fibre. Fibre has nothing to do brain but has a lot to do with guts. Your guts play a major role in stabalizing the thinking process. Trust me! The more you take good care of your gut, the clearer your thinking process becomes and the sooner you will manifest your dreams and goals. Consume more Alkaline food and avoid acidic foods.
READ BOOKS: Every successful people on this planet recommends you to read at least 60 books a year. Are you reading 60 books? Most probably not! You don't even have to! But start READING! Start with one book a year... yes that's it! Just start. Don't make a goal that is absolutely bizarre. If you make such goals then you are essentially planning for failure. Your brain cannot comprehend such bizarre goals. If you don't read books at all or barely touch them, having a goal of reading 60 books is like a JOKE to your brain. It will laugh at it silently and move on. People heavily underestimate the power of STARTING SMALL. Pick up any book first and start... Just start.
EXERCISE DAILY: Daily physical workouts improves your blood circulation and distribution of critical nutrients throughout your body. This improves your mood and thinking. We all make commitments every New Year's Eve and within the second week of January your goals are out of the window. Refer to my earlier point of STARTING SMALL. It applies to all areas of life. Even a 10 minutes walk can help. Start today and stop giving excuses. Small amount of exercise helps you to think better and make better judgments. So what are you waiting for?
