How I Save $3,744,000 a Year with Digital PR?

How I Save $3,744,000 a Year with Digital PR?

I paid $6,000 for one press release.?

Today, I write and pitch 12 press releases a week.

It helps to save $72,000 weekly, $288,000 monthly, or $3,744,000 a year.?

Impressive??

Yes, this amount is significant.?

If you read the entire article, then I will teach you how you can do the same.?

I share my journey step-by-step to see the first results in six months and keep growing today.?

CNN, Business Insider, Yahoo Finance, Coindesk, Investing, MSN, Marketwatch, Coindesk link and mention our content.?

Results??

My trading project has grown from 0 to +100,000 visitors a month.?

Stay tuned because the best part is coming.?

Why Are Backlinks Still Important?

My main focus is SEO.?

Backlinks are still crucial for any project.?

Google shares that links are outside the five best ranking factors that might be true, but an?online study?shows a different picture.?

Other studies from Ahrefs, Moz, and Semrush show similar research that higher DA is equal to more traffic.?

Google plays its own game to encourage content creators to create high-quality content and skip link building, but most experts and case studies recommend acquiring backlinks.?

Link building is the biggest challenge in SEO.?

I've spent 15 years on this game, and earning relevant and authoritative links still steals most resources.?

Anyway, I'm in the same boat with other websites that have the same struggle.?

PR is not marketing?or SEO; link builders adapt these methods to deserving links and mentions.?

I love this mobility.?

Moving fast means a lot in an SEO game.?

Google also loves PR!

John Mueller himself?recommends PR?like technical optimization.?

So, I started to adapt to AI.?

Learn First and Test Second

I searched on Google guides, tutorials, how-to articles, and case studies with the goal of learning.?

Then, I learned from Fery Kaszoni, who spoke two times on?my podcast?and was passionate about digital PR.?

He shares that his favorite method is to learn a lot from YouTube videos.?

If you love this method, jump on this format, but I prefer text-based content.?

Anyway, after reading a lot and getting the basic skills, the most effective method is to try and fail.?

I always fail when I start something new.?

How is it possible to compete with experts who spent years crafting their methods?

Yes, it is possible.?

I wrote a bunch of press releases myself; that was my first failure.?

By the way, it's not failure.?

I acquired skills on how to do it right.?

Then, I searched for someone who could pitch them.?

There are two methods:?

  • contribution?
  • distribution.

Contribution costs $50 on Upwork, but I don't recommend it.?

The main reason is that PR tools add your press releases to many websites without checking the quality of your pitches.?

These press releases have URLs without interlinking from other pages.?

If you get the link on Forbes when other pages don't link to your content, the authority is equal to zero.?

Forbes never allows contribution methods, but some authoritative websites still accept these orphaned pages.?

Distribution is another beast because webmasters should accept your content or use some part of press releases in their content to link or mention the authors.?

The price for distribution methods varies from freelancers to companies.?

Finding the price for $50 is still possible, but your press release will come to the generic database of journalists who are not interested in your PR so that the performance could be much better.?

You can pay a few thousand dollars for one pitch and do it yourself with tools.?

I decided myself.?

Choose the Right Tool

I started to review popular online tools: Cision, Meltwater, MuckRack, Newswire, and Prowly, etc.?

All these tools are expensive and also have their advantages and disadvantages.?

I chose Prowly because of paying monthly and a cheaper price, but after adding all the necessary features, the price came up, too.?

So, +10K a year is significantly less than +3M.?

I spent a few months playing with all these features and finding the right journalists when I got to the point that great press releases deserve attention from journalists.?

PR agencies charge $6,000 for writing and distribution, but their writing is much weaker than you can do because they research topics without deep experience.?

Do I have this experience in trading?

No, but I outsource great writers who post content on Forbes, Investopedia, and many other great websites.?

I've created a lot of content with all these authors for blog posts, e-commerce pages, and social media, but I have yet to try for press releases.?

The first attempts got zero results because we used best practices far from my authors' experience.?

Then, I decided to stop limiting our possibilities and give more freedom and flexibility with fewer demands:

  • 300-500 words
  • trending topics
  • bullet points
  • add an expert opinion with our link.

A miracle happened.?

One of our press releases got +55 links and mentions.?

The rest are also working fine to acquire around 5-10 mentions.?

The results are fantastic.?

Most projects are growing.?

More Bonus Insights about PR

Journalists are looking for something trending with valuable insights.?

I often see that when authors share breaking news in their PR, that is not a good idea.

You cannot compete with extensive publications about sharing news, but you can bring more value to this news, provide a short study, and leave an expert opinion as you can do with?Haro.?

Experts can shave valuable insights, but the format differs from a regular blog post.?

You can use ChatGPT for that.?

My authors often edit my PRs with ChatGPT to convert a bad copy with many grammar mistakes to a well-written copy suitable for journalists' formats.?

You can even write press releases on Bard or ChatGPT, but my testing shows that these tools are still being prepared to bring something new.?

You can change the game.?

Who knows?

Conclusion

PR is an excellent link-building method to create brand awareness, build trust, and earn many backlinks.?

If you ignore this format, it's a big mistake.?

Let me know if you do it or leave extra comments/questions to hone your process.?

This is a great post. I made my first $1000 online via PR. It still remains one of the fastest ways to make money online. With the right prompt, you can still get quality PR from Bard. What a good remainder
