How can YOU achieve GREAT results in LESS time (top Productivity)?

To obtain great results in less time you need to become the person that has the skills, the strength and the competence to achieve top productivity and to hold it firmly into your hands.
The more you grow as a person, the more you grow as a professional, the more you realise that the source of success is YOU.
While you are reaching that realisation, your confidence grows and you will have a clear consciousness about your means, you will know that your fortress has been built by you one brick on the other. You remember the ground where you started and you will have a sense of self-awareness that - if you fall - you will not fall that far back. And, in any case, you would be able to do it again; it is neither ideal nor desirable, but you know that you could do it!
We think we are like Clark Kent, we can just strip off our shirt and become Superman!
It does not quite work like this, does it?
We need TIME to become "super".
We need EFFORT to become "super".
You can see the transformation as one of these epic scenes in a movie where the normal girl can quickly mutate into the heroine version of herself, or the main character can transform into a robot or a wolf or the hulk or something powerful… but in real life your change does not last 5 seconds. It’s a continuous change.

Do you remember the film “The Mask”?
There was this character (played by Jim Carrey) that could put on a mask and become amazing in every aspect: brilliant, funny, wise, lively, irresistibly charming.
The problem was that… when the mask fell off, he was again the timid, helpless, average guy, this time even more frustrated after having tasted his moments of gorgeousness.
--
You cannot just put on a mask like Jim Carrey in that film, because you would be lost without an external help.
The greatness was not due to the person, but to something else, an external artefact.
--
Maybe this is what your subconscious feels: to be not enough.
After all, when talking to entrepreneurs and managers I realise that one of the 3 fundamental mistakes that make a business fail or have setbacks is the inner voice repeating “Am I doing enough? I could do more! I should do more! Is this good enough?”
--
If you feel you are not enough, it is a quite normal reaction to think that, if you reach success, this would be due to something outside of your capacities. And then you would start fearing what would happen next?
--
Don't depend on something you HAVE to make you great.
BE great.
--
It is when you build yourself into the person you aim to be, that potential setbacks would not harm you!
Let’s start seeing how you can do that with this article: https://www.dhirubhai.net/pulse/characteristics-top-productive-people-giulio-zecca

3 年Neat stuff, Giulio. I really dig the pop culture references, they make the understanding smoother, and I totally agree with the content. We often seek to improve by acknowledging only external factors and never look at our own behaviour towards our goals. To use the same analogy: we keep looking for the Mask to wear instead of becoming a better person hahah.
