How can we face defeat with courage?
You need to be self-motivated all the time. Nobody understands your dreams better than you. Let others focus on theirs and you focus on yours.
None of the products we are using today had deadlines when they were invented. They had an end goal and the inventors did whatever they could and took however long was needed to succeed.
Today, after a long journey, I have no regrets even if I fail because I made a start few years ago. I will surely see the benefits in some way or the other.
What is more important is that I learned along the way.
What you learn is more valuable. It will pay rich dividends someday for sure.
The key is to be self-motivated. Motivation comes within you.
Sometimes we feel like the world is crashing down around us.
We look back, not sure of how we got where we are today, and everything just seems like a mess.
We failed so much, so often and everything in life just seems like a colossal failure.
Maybe this speaks to you, maybe it only does a little bit, but we have all had at least some moments like this.
The best way to deal with this kind of realization is, quite ironically,?not?to deal with it.
In an attempt to deal with a past like this, we hold onto it so much longer and it ends up haunting us much much more than it would otherwise.
Instead, we must accept it and move on as soon as we can.
Life is a massive failure right now. That sucks. Move on.
I know this is advice a lot of people give us and you likely agree that it is not nearly as easy to do as just moving on, but no one said it would be.
You must accept your life for what it is?now?and ignore how you got here, at least in a very large part, for it just does not matter anymore.
What matters is where you are and where you want to be. Everything before then just holds you back.
That is why you do not want to deal with the failures at all and simply want to move on as best as you can.
This brings me to my 3 favorite words:?“Okay… Now What?”
The first part, “Okay” is all about accepting where you are.
You take stock of what is going well, what is not, where you are and where you want to be, and simply accept it.
If you are unhappy, lonely, feel depressed, unsuccessful or like you have made way too many mistakes then this is the point where you?accept that that is the way it is right now.
Do not try to make a plan, do not try to fight it or make it better, do not try to do anything with that at all just yet.
For now, only accept it. Your life is what it is.
The second part, the “Now” is all about focusing on?this moment.
You cannot change yesterday, last week or last month. You cannot even change what you did 5 minutes ago.
What happened happened and there is nothing you can do about it anymore.?It is a fact that the past happened the way it did.

All you can change is what you do?now.
You have the option, the choice and the power to make a completely new decision in this moment.
Likely, you found your way to this post somehow and are reading it mostly passively.
Maybe it was your choice to be here or maybe you just stumbled into it, but now, in this very moment, I want you to make a choice to either keep reading or do something else.
Empower your own decision making and remind yourself that you can even do this.
The choice of what you do now is always yours. Focus on this moment and just this one, as that will be plenty enough.
Both of the previous parts are basically a setup to the third part, the “What”.
Here is where you devise a battle plan.
You took stock of the situation, accepted it and focused on this moment, now it is time to see what you do from here.
What would be 1 thing you could do that would get you out of this situation and closer to where you want to be?
Think about this for a while and find the?necessary?action steps, which are often not at all easy.
There is always a way out, we’re simply often too preoccupied with dealing with the past to find these.
So, try this now and then create some?small, daily habits?that help you bridge the gap of where you are and where you want to be.
These habits should be no more than 10 minutes in length each, although I recommend 5 to start out with, and no more than 10 in number, although I recommend 3 at first.
With 3, 5-minute habits you are already doing enough to eventually move out of the situation you are in.
It is not the big moments that made life what it is today, but all the tiny moments along the way that, over time, became monsters that transformed your life forever.
It is these monsters we want to create, only that we want positive monsters that are on our side and not working against us!
For this you have to nurture them, build them up and give them time.
When you do, they eventually eat up all the negativity and regret… it just takes time.
Overall this means that you do not deal with the past failures at all.
They got you to where you are, and that is all we care about, everything else we let go.
For what matter is what you do, not what you did, what you choose, not what you chose, and where you go now, not where you went before.
What matters are the actions you decide upon at this moment, knowing and accepting fully where you are to make those actions get you out of there as quickly as you can and into the life you want to live?
That is the best way to deal with failure; by counteracting it with personal success.
Rome wasn't built in a day. So practice a lot. Drop drop makes an ocean. Try to improve and you will eventually succeed.
