How can we ensure that we do not lose the progress we have made regarding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion?

This was the question I asked Oprah Winfrey, who inspired everyone with her words on the stage of Legends in Town. I had the honor of being invited to ask a question to this woman whom I admire so much, and I even received a compliment that filled me with joy. A day that remains etched in my memory.

Beyond the emotion of this moment, the most important aspect here is the reflection!

Recently, we have seen an increase in anti-DEI rhetoric that is extremely concerning and challenges our progress in social justice and inclusion.?

"There is no work that is not improved by diversity, by justice, and by the inclusion of multiple ideas and different kinds of people, at different stages of their lives. And we must be steadfast in making this happen. And thank you for doing that, Luana." This was part of Oprah's response to me.
