“Sustainability” is a broad topic that covers many areas, so it’s important to understand what’s top of mind for important groups within the printing industry ecosystem. For example, some consumers are interested in ways to reduce their plastic footprint. One way to do so through the home and office printing is to eliminate plastic cartridge waste by switching to a refillable supertank printer. Alternatively, a business may be more focused on reducing its energy consumption, so moving from color laser printers to comparable inkjet models that can reduce energy usage by up to 75% may be the right move.
