How can one of us be happy if all the other ones are sad – A thought in CORONA times?

For sure COVID – 19 has impacted the world very badly, probably first time in the history, we are suffering as whole, all of us are in this together- fighting with this evil monster called CORONAVIRUS.

While most of us are at home due to lockdown, this is a time to introspect ourselves, a time to look into past, take learnings from our mistakes , live in the present as happily as possible.

Count the blessings if we are with family and plan (?????????) a bit for future !!

I know, it seems funny to plan because all the plans are on hold , not sure till when…

These are tough times indeed – so much to learn and discover though ! 

Hidden talents – some trying new dishes, some are awakening forgotten hobbies, kids of working parents enjoying what they missed a lot !

Work from home - seems like it is going to stay for some time wherever possible

Companies – looking for new ways of cost cutting

Employees – scared / tensed , unsure of future – it’s nothing new though, it has always been about survival of the fittest. We need to constantly upgrade ourselves to be in the RACE. 

Business-owners / entrepreneurs – even more difficult phase for them as they have to pay salaries / rents/ other infrastructural costs and save the business too – all businesses can’t support work from home !

Small businesses in Unorganised sector are going to suffer more as they do not have or have very less working capital.

This time is trying to teach a lot to the mankind, how we are neglecting precious things in life, losing great moments..

We do not smile or laugh as much as we used to when we were kids

Quality family time is nowhere present for many of us.

Most of working population do not watch sunset nowadays

Spending time with family or friends have become to go to lunch or dinner, malls / watching movies. But is it actually quality time ?

This fight can’t be won alone , COVID – 19 has reminded us importance of community, we can only emerge as a winner if we fight together , we can’t afford to leave any section of the society , the theory of “Ubuntu” seems to be very relevant in such times. Ubuntu means – “Humanity towards others” or “I am because we are”.
