In this week’s Parsha, Yoseph - who was sold to the Egyptians – reveals himself to his brothers, who came to Egypt, to buy food for their family living in Canaan (today Israel).
The brothers’ rush back to Canaan to tell their father – Yaakov (45, 26): “Joseph is still alive”.
Yaakov responds (45, 28): “I will go and see him before I die”.
On Yaakov’s way to Egypt, HaShem reveals to him and says (46, 4):
"???? ??? ??? ??????, ????? ???? ?? ???, ????? ???? ??? ?? ?????"
“I will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also bring you up, and Joseph will place his hand on your eyes.”

The Sefas Emes writes, this is a lesson for all generations, every pain, agony, suffering or misery that anyone goes through is for good, this hardship will inevitably elevate and boost this person.

As we see HaShem told Yaakov ???? ?? ???, saying twice that HaShem will bring him up, certainly indicating how the way back up will ultimately leap much higher than before.

When - G-D forbid – going through a difficult time, the Sefas Emes says, one should remain focused on what’s the core essence of everything – including those troubles and difficulties – which is of course HaShem, the Divine light and energy revives everything, without the word of HaShem - that breathes life into everything at every given moment - literally nothing would survive.

The Sefas Emes concludes, by being connected with core soul and spirit of any pain and anguish which is: HaShem - rather than focusing on it’s outer layer which can sometime be pain and misery - it will automatically be transformed and converted to utter sweetness, goodness and kindness, which is a direct ray of Divine oneness.
