How can logistics alliance unite everyone without internal friction?!

In the era of booming GDP growth and abundant sources of logistics business, opening a logistics special line can make money. Few people want to talk about merger or alliance. They all want to eat all the sugarcane. This is caused by human greed. However, with the slow growth of the manufacturing industry, the GDP growth rate has slowly declined, and the threshold for setting up logistics enterprises has been lowered. In addition, express enterprises have penetrated into the traditional logistics and freight transportation field, and the competition pressure has further increased. We have started to have the idea of group cooperation, and slowly began to put it into practice. Since 2014, logistics alliance enterprises have been established successively, such as Tianjin Wanzhong, Guangzhou youyou Hui, Yimi Dida, Jumeng, etc. After the outbreak of the new crown epidemic, people were further forced to keep warm. In the first half of 2020, two alliances of ant chain and Wisteria were born successively.      

Can logistics alliance solve the problem of logistics enterprises?      

Logistics Alliance under internal friction

From 2014 to now, a large number of logistics alliance enterprises have been established. Of course, there are still normal operation, but the franchisee is also thinking. Without it, it is decided by the current joining structure and mode.

1. The alliance cooperation based on equity determines that the alliance is essentially a game structure. No matter how big the sponsor's face is, no matter how much the early participants support the sponsors' alliance, once the interest distribution is involved, the game begins. At the time of joining the alliance, the stock business or the capital and assets invested can be evaluated with reference, and then the equity can be divided. However, after the dynamic operation of the business, whether it is good or bad, it is difficult to change the stock ownership structure dynamically, which is bound to be a setback for those who are willing to do it. In the end, there will be free riders, but the drivers will not be motivated, and the cars will eventually stop.      

2. Equity based alliance structure is capital friendly. However, for the logistics enterprises that joined later, they are closed, without it, the valuation is not easy to operate, the value contribution is not well defined, and there are also some disagreements among peers. However, the key of logistics is actually in the network system and customers. If the new logistics enterprises can expand the network scale and increase the customer group to the alliance system, it will be more significant than capital, because it is also expensive to build networks and obtain customers. However, the traditional alliance structure prefers capital investment.      

3. For the growth of logistics network, many logistics systems will still adopt the mode of joining in, but the "joining" is not the beginning of "alliance". In China, the "joining" is more of the big system swallowing the individual, and the small individual is playing the game of "collecting wool" of the big system. In the end, it is difficult to say who is the "leek" and who is "wool". In the end, the majority of "chicken feathers" are "one place".      

4. In the logistics alliance system, customers will be in an awkward position. Because there is a characteristic of Logistics: the consignor, the receiver and the payer are not always Trinity, and the carriers at the receiving end and the delivery end are not the same. Therefore, in the case of delivery problems, it is a more troublesome matter in the alliance system. In the long run, customers are easily lost.      

In a word, because of the current structure mode and operation system of logistics alliance, it is difficult for the current alliance structure to gather all of us to work together. No matter how ambitious and motivated we were in the early stage, because the interest structure based on equity will inevitably lead to structural shortsightedness and interest game among participants, resulting in serious internal friction.

The logistics alliance based on blockchain can unite all the people to the greatest extent      

At present, the industry still has a little knowledge of blockchain, and has no idea what blockchain can do with logistics. In fact, if we study blockchain deeply, we will find that blockchain is the best ideological tool for collaborative logistics networking. At the Shanghai logistics industry conference in May 2018, the author called on logistics practitioners to learn and think about how to use blockchain to cooperate with logistics industry networking alliance.      

As a technology and idea, blockchain can be applied in many aspects. However, we believe that the most important value and role of blockchain is to provide an idea and method of value distribution management. Blockchain can provide a relatively fair community of interests for the participants with dynamic value distribution scheme.      

The value functions of logistics alliance are as follows:      

1. It can provide an open sharing alliance scheme. Logistics alliance is not based on the "bright arm, show muscle" mode to determine the equity distribution structure, but according to the contribution of the pre-defined business smart contract value distribution. In a word: the more contribution, the more warrant distribution; the earlier the contribution, the more warrant distribution. The sponsor does not necessarily have the greatest contribution to the logistics alliance, because it does not necessarily mean that the sponsor has the greatest contribution.      

2. Capital is a very important value contribution. However, in the networking of logistics alliance, logistics business outlets, customers and transport capacity are as important value contribution as capital. Even with the latter, the logistics alliance system for capital demand can be far reduced. Therefore, any time the logistics site join in is the contribution to the system. Following the logic of blockchain means that there must be distribution when there is contribution, which is fair and reasonable.      

3. Bringing customers to the network system is also a very important value contribution. The value distribution concept based on blockchain can encourage any participant to cooperate to help bring customers to the system, and the customer introducers can also reward the value contribution according to the business smart contract. Similarly, any customer who brings waybill to the system is also a value contribution.      

In a word, in the business alliance system of blockchain + logistics, anyone, whether it is the business initiator or organizer, logistics site and transport capacity provider, or customer developer, can obtain the incentive warrant of the system or the value distribution based on the legal currency according to the smart contract defined by the blockchain according to the dynamic value reward mechanism.      

This is an open, pluggable, open and shared logistics operation network, which does not depend on any initiator or node. But as long as the participating nodes are active and willing to work, they can get fair and reasonable incentives. And any act of committing crimes and infringing on the interests of others can also be punished by setting up a smart contract in advance. As for the formulation of rules, it is also based on the voting of warrants for public setting. That is, the final realization: logistics alliance is an alliance system of all participants, which does not rely on any one person or any node. Everyone participates in mutual cooperation and obtains the final value distribution based on contribution and service.      

This is not an idea, but a new business structure that can be realized and organized based on blockchain. The future has come, the bird has not yet flown!
