My Tips…??
1. High-Waisted Skirts & Trousers. If you bring your waist line up, this will give the illusion of longer legs. Opt for straight, or slim cut,?
Never choose a cropped length trouser, but finishing at the ankle is ok, with the right footwear. If you love the latest wide leg styles, keep them neat, with not too much swamping fabric.
Skirt length, should take into account the ‘footwear rule’ below ???
2. Monochrome outfits, will give a lengthening effect. Play with texture and tone within the same colour family.?
?3. Footwear.? Where possible, have a shape to your footwear. The more shaped the toe, the longer your leg will look. Dark colours may add bulk, but keeping to the same colour as your bottom half, will elongate. Knee length boots with a skirt in a similar colour will work well.?
4. Tops/Accessories. Taking care with the top half, using v and scoop necks, will draw the eye upwards creating an overall length.?Creating a V with a half tuck top is good to trick the eye.
?All vertical detailing will also draw the eye up and down rather that side to side.Creating an illusion of length.?
