Did you know that your mind works faster when you are in trance than when you are concentrating on a mathematical problem? That's because when we are in trance our mind is literally sorting out our thoughts and any problems we may have.
Our subconscious mind is open to receiving positive suggestions while in trance and this also results in better sleep. When we have a good night’s sleep about 20% of our time is in REM (rapid eye movement) sleep. During REM, our subconscious mind transfers all of our stresses from the day to our intellectual mind where we can resolve them.
Therefore, being in trance has two main benefits, it promotes healthy sleep patterns which results in less stress and it allows the subconscious mind to receive positive suggestions.
Trance is a normal everyday occurrence for us all, many times during the day we go into a trance, when watching TV, driving a route we have done many times or doing anything where we do not need to concentrate.
