How can employee well-being help a C-suite, HR manager, and mid-level manager...

Have you ever gotten defeated because you were doing everything to achieve company goals with your Team?

And whatever you’ve changed turned up as a failure?

?

?? When you are a C-suite, HR manager or mid-level manager achieving corporation goals with your team looks like winning an MMA fight.

?

This can be as difficult as that or even harder…

?

And I'm going to reveal why that happens so often in a moment.

?

Before I reveal that to you, you first need to understand…

?

Let me tell you a short story about my professional life.

?

When I became a manager for a multinational Team at one of the biggest Irish construction corporations, I was very positive. I thought that my Team and I could accomplish every task we would get correctly and on time.

That was a pipe dream…at least at the beginning.

?

When we started our cooperation, we knew what needed to be done and even when, but we didn’t know how important our work was for ourselves and the company.

?

?? That was one of the biggest issues.

?

???????? The second one was in a very close relation with the previous one: we were a group of people who were working in one open space on the same project but in a few silos…

?

?? And the third element which didn’t help us to achieve our goals was lack of respect from even other departments at our own company.

?

?? That was terrible, abominable, and even humiliating!

?

?? After a few months, I decided to finish with such a state of affairs!

?

?? I started with a survey for my Team to find out what they would expect from the corporation, other departments, and me.

?

Fortunately, I didn’t make the mistake that most survey owners do – I took the answers, analysed and started working on them!

?

?? It was ‘BINGO’!!!

?

I talked about those with every member of my Team individually – over 30 people – but this was worth more than ‘Alibaba sesame’!

?

After separate meetings, I organised group sessions with the whole Team when we talked about our work itself and how important it is for the corporation and me as a leader.

?

?? What I’ve noticed, people didn’t feel like an important gear of the company because of the lack of respect they experience every day at work.

?

Based on that I created a method which allowed me to go forward.

?

?? I used it a few times with a variety of Teams. And each time it worked!

?

?? Working with individual employees proved to me that this is scalable, too.

?

Knowing how to achieve these types of results is critical to your success as a C-suite, HR head or mid-level manager.

?

It was all thanks to ‘Team Synergy Initiative??’, a method I developed.

Focusing on employees’ well-being it’s one of its elements.

How to achieve it?

?

To start taking care of employees when they are at work and if needed to help them manage their time after work.

But you have to be very heedful and subtle!

You cannot break into their private life, their privacy!

Regarding employees’ time after work - you only CAN help them if they want it!

?? Doing something because ‘In my opinion, X is good for you, and you must do it because I said so!’ never works.

?

The same is true when you want to apply the same framework for the whole Team.

?? Don’t do that!

?

?? Never ever!

?

?? You must remember that nobody is the same.

?

?? You must respect that!

?
