How can companies build and sustain an engaged workforce?

So much of what makes up a ‘good’ business is external. Companies promote the positive impact of goods and services to customers, they put out PR statements about their purpose, and they make commitments that shareholders and customers call for. But what about the people who make a company run??

In this episode of Forces For Good , we learn how companies create positive culture and a shared sense of purpose through stronger relationships and understanding between colleagues.

How can companies ensure that workers are satisfied and share their sense of purpose? How can businesses give employees opportunities to learn and grow? What is the best way for businesses to get and implement feedback from workers? We’re joined this episode by Bernard (you may remember his voice from earlier in the series!), along with speakers from two B Corps; Culture Amp , the market-leading employee experience platform, and Innate Motion , a global purpose agency putting people and planet at the center of business strategies.

In the penultimate episode of B Lab’s business podcast, #ForcesForGood , we learn about the importance of ‘being human’ and having empathy in the workplace. Plus, we discuss employees as key stakeholders and the dangers of regarding worker engagement strategies purely as a business case for increased productivity. Appreciated listening to this podcast -- and it's great that more businesses are focusing on employee engagement. B Lab, will you keep the podcast going with other seasons? I really like the format & content. It's refreshing to hear multiple speakers tackle a subject from different perspectives.
