How Can Christian Leaders Maximize Their Spiritual Gifts and Social Authority at Work?

Leadership is a spiritual gift. As believers, we acknowledge that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, endowed with unique gifts, abilities, and capabilities. These divine endowments enable us to serve effectively and build up our communities. Romans 12:8 emphasizes the importance of exercising spiritual gifts with the right attitude and diligence, specifically instructing that "those who lead must lead with zeal and diligence." As Christian leaders and career professionals, we are stewards of these gifts, responsible for using them to serve others and advance God's kingdom in our roles as leaders.

The spiritual gift of leadership equips us for every good work. It involves setting goals in alignment with our divine assignment, purpose, mission, and God's will, and motivating others to work together harmoniously to achieve these goals and desired outcomes. This stewardship and service-oriented approach to leadership fosters respect and authority within your community, commonly referred to as social authority.

How does a Christian leader's spiritual gifts and social authority intersect?

The intersection of a Christian leader's spiritual gift of leadership and social authority lies in your faithful stewardship of your gifts in service to others.

Social authority in the workplace refers to the influence and respect a leader commands due to their position, experience, and relationships. Christian leaders and career professional do not exercise their authority through rank or position, but through the faithful and diligent use of their gifts, abilities and talents in service to others. When leaders exercise their gifts with humility, recognising their position as servants under the Lordship of Christ, you gain respect and influence within your work community.

Can a human really be "sincere" and have "integrity"? Let us find out how this is even remotely possible? Except if it is a down watered edition of humans vs the Perfect Creation of our Father.

You invited me to your edition so I likewise invite you to mine today. I know it is "short notice". But you don't need to prepare. Because the Holy Spirit will be there to listen to and to ask him what to say. That is what it is about. To come "unprepared". Because I will too. Only there you can enter "Edifying". 1 Cor. 14: 26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. https://www.dhirubhai.net/events/manislucifer7207059329965867008/theater/

Wow! Dr. Marcia Thomas, you have packed such a fantastic wealth of knowledge, wisdom, and authority into this message. This should become the manifesto of every child of the most high God, as we are all called to lead, love, encourage, instruct, and impart the truth of God to the world. The Spirit of God is manifested through us, to others, as we live out our faith in the execution of our gifts, fulfillment of our divine purpose, and reflection of Him and His character, so that others may know Him and desire to seek Him. Amen. ?? ??
