If anyone has been diagnosed with cancer, obtaining traditional life insurance can be challenging. However, there are still options available:

Guaranteed Issue Life Insurance:

It is also called a “Non-Declaration Policy”, as this type of policy doesn’t require a medical exam or health questionnaire. While it has low coverage amounts & high premium(s), it’s an option for those with cancer.

Group Life Insurance:

If your employer offers group life insurance, you may qualify regardless of your health condition.

Existing Life Insurance Policy(s):

If you have any existing policy on your life which was purchased prior to the diagnosis of Cancer & is currently fully active or is in-force under Non Forfeiture or Paid Up with sum assured clause, it will also cover your death benefit or some built-in supplementary benefits, subject to its terms and conditions.

Term Life Insurance:

Even a Term Life Insurance purchased prior to the diagnosis of Cancer, which is currently fully active and in-force, will cover your death benefit payment to your designated beneficiary(s).

Keep in mind that the availability and cost of option # 1 depends on the type of cancer, its stage, and whether you’re in treatment or remission. Always answer truthfully on your application forms to ensure accurate coverage . If you have specific questions about your situation, consider consulting an insurance professional.
