HOW CAN ANYONE UTTER THE NAME OF MICHAEL BROWN IN THE SAME BREATH AS THE NAME OF GEORGE FLOYD?

How dare anyone compare this poor man, George Floyd, to a person like Michael Brown of "Ferguson" fame? Perhaps I can help explain the differences between the two cases for those who have an interest. From what we have seen on the video, Mr. Floyd was cuffed and no longer any threat at all to the police. Although he was no longer a threat to the police, an officer knowingly committed an act against him which he knew or should have known could result in Mr. Floyd's death. At a minimum, this appears to be negligence resulting in a second-degree manslaughter charge. At a maximum, based on charging decisions thus far, this appears to be a degree of murder, presently charged as a 2nd-degree murder. Now, let's move on to a discussion of Michael Brown.

With regard to the Michael Brown case, Attorney General Eric Holder, acting on directions from President Barack Obama, did the following: (A) Traveled to Missouri to meet with federal authorities involved in the investigation, including the FBI (B) Had the U.S. Department of Justice, Criminal Justice Section of the Civil Rights' Division, conduct a thorough investigation (C) Monitored this extensive investigation closely.

Here were the findings: (A) President Obama's Department of Justice (DOJ) found that Officer Darren Wilson, the officer accused of gunning down Michael Brown, committed no prosecutable offense against Mr. Brown (B) President Barack Obama's Attorney General, Eric Holder, issued his own statement to the effect that Mr. Brown's death, although a tragedy, did not involve prosecutable conduct by Officer Darren Wilson (C) Attorney General Holder's expert, career prosecutors examined all available evidence in the case and found no prosecutable conduct by the officer (D) AG Holder referred to the work of his career prosecutors as 'sound, considered and independent judgment' (E) AG Holder's prosecutors/investigators canvassed some 300 or so witnesses in the area in order to obtain all available testimony (F) AG Holder's prosecutors/investigators interviewed and re-interviewed all initial witnesses (G) AG Holder advised that he personally agreed with the findings set forth in the 87-page report generated by his attorneys in the case (H) A separate grand jury, having read through thousands of pages of documents and having heard hours of testimony, determined that Officer Darren Wilson had committed no prosecutable offense in the Brown case.

Finally, the grand jury concluded that Officer Darren Wilson acted within the law in dealing with Mr. Brown (A) The autopsy on Brown indicated that Brown was not shot in the back as some news’ reports had indicated (B) Investigators found Brown's blood "inside" Officer Darren Wilson's vehicle indicating that Brown was at extremely close range with respect to Wilson. To sum it all up, a man lying cuffed on the ground with a cop on top of him as he begs for air and calls out to his deceased momma for help and a man charging toward a police officer as the officer sits in his patrol vehicle are two different people. Please don't dishonor the memory of Mr. George Floyd, by tying his name to the name of a man believed, based on sworn witness testimony, to have been aggressively charging toward a police officer as the officer sat alone in his patrol vehicle.
