How Caleb Simpson Went From Almost Broke to $40K a Month as a Creator
“How much do you pay for rent in NY?” This one format has helped Caleb Simpson go from almost broke to making $40K a month and getting billions of views.
An overnight success right?
Absolutely not.??
Caleb has always wanted to make it as a creator. He's been making short-form content for 6 years. Trying everything. Trying to make it. Forcing himself to make one video per day. Learning from his mistakes.
He tried NFTs. Pizza videos. Any idea that came to his mind.?
And none of it worked. He was getting some followers, but after several years, he had 15K subscribers on his YouTube channel.
Then one day he had this crazy idea. What if I asked people on the street to give me apartment tours?
He went up to strangers all day. Asking them to show him their apartments.
He got 0 yesses.
So he asked his friend to tour their apartment and filmed it. He almost didn't post it because he thought the video idea wasn't that great.
But he did it anyway. And the rest was history.?
I think we see many big creators and assume they got lucky. They stumbled upon a million dollar idea.?
But Caleb was grinding for years before true success.
EpicMealTime? That was their 8th channel.?
Mr. Beast? His first 300 YouTube videos netted him 10K subscribers.
Most times, creators don’t succeed because of luck or connections.
It was because they never gave up.
