How Busy Christians Can Read The Bible Every Single Day The Easy Way

As believers, we know prayer and Bible reading should be part of our lives.

But that seems to be much easier said than done if we’re working hard, keeping our family together, raising kids, and handling any other responsibilities that round out our life.??

I used to remember to read just as my head hit the pillow. Then I’d ask the Lord’s forgiveness as I turned out the lights.?

Hosea 4:6 says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” What knowledge? “...no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.” (Hosea 4:1)

Think about that. God didn’t say weak or sickly. He said his people are destroyed.?

As we read the Word, we understand truth and mercy and deepen our knowledge of God. By daily ingesting His Word, our knowledge and understanding “stack up,” and we get deep revelations that don’t come any other way. I speak from experience.

I tried various charts and systems to help with daily reading but they didn’t work for me.?

Then I was introduced to The One Year Bible (KJV)

It’s the entire Bible divided up into 365 daily readings. Every day has some Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs, and takes me about 15 minutes.

There’s no wondering what I’m going to read that day. Just turn the page or tap the screen on my Kindle and keep going.?

I’ve read the entire Bible more than 25 times this way and still use it. My faith and strength in the Word have grown exponentially.?
