How not to burn

Been sick for a week now and energy levels are 10% lower than usual. That 10% is enough to put me off track my "push it to 99%" schedule.

Now, I'm, although I'm feeling burned down / feeling like plateauing nowadays, I'm nowhere near The Big Burn. I have systems to prevent that.


So, how do I keep myself at bay from The Burn?

1- Sports. I go out bike or run in the mountains daily. Box on my roof daily. Gym, near daily. Moving my body shakes the trauma away.

2- Psychological support. Wife, coach, psychotherapist. Masterminds, friends.

3- Enjoying Life. Watching the stars, admiring a nice city view while sipping tea. Going for ATV rides, going out to eat.

4. Mindset. Patience and not wasting energy. Trust the process. Not paniquitting.

5. Constant Growth. I take risk, experiment creatively a lot, and adapt. Daily I'm pushing further to not fall back to square one.

6. Learning. From wikilearning about conquistadores to podlearning from top CEOs, I keep clean new information in my brain. I test the validity of that info. Constantly chasing Truth and staying aligned with my values.


These tips should keep you steady and growing while keeping The Burn at bay.

I don't have a wife ?? . But other then that 100% with you! These are exactly the key points! Balance is the right way to go.
