HOW TO BUILT A PERFECT RESUME
A resume is like your 1st presentation of yourself in front of your prospective employer. So, let’s make it impressive!!
IMPORTANT FACTOR – The experiences have made you what you are today. But your resume of 6/7/8 page is just going to confuse your future hiring manager.
Make it just a 2/3 pages resume and explain about each role in detail at the time of interview.
1.??????Format – Please avoid the complicated formats that seem more like an art work rather than a professional resume. Choose a simple format with mild border. Hiring manager is interested in your content and not in the art work.
?
2.??????Key Points – Contact Information
While choosing different formats, most people tend to overlook the fact that the contact information is missing. Make sure to mention your contact number as well as email ID. Address (Permanent or temporary) can be mentioned in gist.
?Email ID – Please make sure to create a professional email ID. Most people do the common mistake of having an email ID like “tallbeauty@” or “Master123@”. This itself creates a wrong impression. Firstly, make sure to have a professional email ID and keep it as simple as possible like Johnathan.Dsouza@
?
?3.??????Summary / Objective - While?objective statements are ideal for some job seekers, resume summaries work better for others. Personally, we suggest, please mention your summary, where you can highlight your strength, current role, key achievement etc in a couple of words (But surely just a couple of words)

4.??????Education and Certifications – Mention your educational qualification but along with your additional certifications.
?
?5.??????Achievements – Yes, please showcase the award you won / or were nominated for. Let everyone know the good work that you did in your organizations were appreciated. You were an achiever and you are an achiever and will always be. Your work has helped your current / previous company grow. You not only identify a problem but also know to find a solution to the same.
??
6.??????Professional Experience – Very IMPORTANT – Make sure to keep your resume experience relevant to the job you are targeting. The?work experience section?is where you get to really sell yourself, so you have to make sure you really iron out the details and the formatting makes sense. This part is the HEART of your resume as we all know. Employers will look very closely at this section. Each description of your work history and volunteer experience should be clear and concise, yet descriptive. After reading your description, a prospective employer should know exactly what your responsibilities were, what skills you have developed, where your strengths lie, and what you have achieved.
?Start by mentioning your current role in detail moving on to the last company. Begin each by mentioning the project / client for whom you are handling the same. Make sure that all your description doesn’t sound the same. Whenever possible, quantify your accomplishments and responsibilities.
7.??????Skills – Be sure to list only the skills that are relevant to the job.
8.??????Tailor your resume - The most impactful thing you can do to improve your chances of getting interviews is tailor your resume to each and every job. Customized resumes that align with job requirements and include keywords from the job description will stand out to recruiters who often receive hundreds of resumes for each role.
