Hi there, I'm Kathy Byrnes, a passionate realtor from the beautiful Lake Norman area, just north of Charlotte. Since diving into the real estate world in 2006, I've been on a constant quest to find innovative ways to connect with clients. And today, I'm going to let you in on one of my favorite tools: Send Out Cards.

About a year after starting my career, I stumbled upon Send Out Cards and was immediately captivated. The convenience of crafting and mailing personalized cards through an app revolutionized my approach to client relationships. This strategy isn't just about flaunting professionalism; it's about inviting potential clients to understand who I am, building trust and relatability.

Let's dive into the specifics. Imagine scrolling through Facebook and spotting a friend's post about their new puppy. With Send Out Cards, I can instantly capture that moment, create a heartfelt card, and mail it to them, all from my phone. This gesture goes beyond a simple online comment; it's a tangible expression of care and connection.

But what if you're new to an area, like I was when I moved to Lake Norman? I started from scratch, with just my daughter as my local connection. My solution? Networking. From creating a networking group with my daughter to joining BNI, I've learned that real estate is as much about building relationships as it is about selling homes.

Your hobbies and interests are gateways to new connections. For me, it's car shows and church activities. For you, it might be pickleball or wine tasting. Use these interests to meet people, engage with them on social media, and gradually integrate them into your professional sphere.

It involves consistently showing interest in people's lives, celebrating their milestones with them, and being a relatable, trustworthy figure. While it might take time, the depth of the connections formed is unparalleled.
