Surprisingly the most difficult part is to define the ‘It’ here. There is no tried and tested recipe for leadership. It is like the perfect blending of different ingredients of personal and interpersonal skills – some you have inherited; some you have achieved. When you present this appearance armoured with confidence – you can really leave an impact on every onlooker.

You have to master the art of winning people’s trust by showcasing the right amount of knowledge with confidence. With the skill to communicate verbally and non-verbally, you can send the right signal. The ways you appear or make others feel can add a ‘wow’ factor to your personality. You need to express your thoughts, ideas, and visions to motivate the people and encourage them to keep their trust in you.

When you enter your workplace, always remember that you are hired for your knowledge, expertise, and experience but these skills are not sufficient to climb up the ladder of leadership. It is the time to fast-track your advancement and start polishing your skills to upgrade your professional career.
