Also, its completely normal if you're not sure what to create.

Don't be hard on yourself; this is a common starting point for many.

If you're wondering where to begin, why not start with what you love?

Let your interests guide your bot's theme.

Step 1) Visit Poe: Start your journey at poe.com and click 'Create a bot'. ( Top left-hand corner or see image below)

Step 2) Name Your Bot: Give it a name that captures its essence.

Need inspiration? Check out ChatGPT or Claude.

Step 3) Choose an Image: Pick a striking image for your bot's profile. Tools like Ideogram or Dalle are great for ideas. Ideogram

Step 4) Select Your Base Model: Choose between ChatGPT and Claude for the style that fits your bot best.

Step 5) Customizing Responses: Align your bot’s responses with your intended tone and personality. ChatGPT can be a real help here, as its your first time.

Step 6) Prompt Example: Be specific about how your bot should behave and respond. Remember, this process is iterative; you'll refine as you go.

Step 7) Set Interaction Rules: Define how your bot greets and interacts with users. AI assistance can be a game-changer here.

Step 8) Preview Your Bot: Test it out and see how it interacts in real-time.

Step 9) Feedback and Adjustments: Use feedback to enhance your bot’s performance.

Step 10) Publish Your Bot: Share your creation with the world on Poe.
