??In the 21st century, the entire network is built through social media and the best way to make business-related friends with a lot ??of people is Linkedin.
Linkedin has many “layers” that you need to know to target your target audience - venture capital investors.?
For startups, Linkedin has 4 ways to make you more trusted:
?Circles of acquaintances. The more random people you add in the beginning, the more common friends you will have with target investors. Each target investor always notes how many mutual friends you have. Zero or a hundred people can make a difference.
?"Featured" - if you are an honored author at Forbes Business Council or you have articles in VentureBeat, or a video of your presentation at the Conference - you are more trusted
? It's not funny, but if you have photos with famous people in your field,?this will be a significant bonus to being trusted
? Recommendations. Be sure to get recommendations from people you've ever worked with. They do not mind spending 1 minute of their time on you, and you will receive additional points = trust coins:)
??LinkedIn must be filled out correctly, and all landing rules apply to it:
??10% of people fall off on each next screen,?
??Button "buy" = Call to action in your "About" field
Etc.
??Linkedin should be optimized like any website (SEO-optimization). Some things boost the search results, some make them disappear from the search. Finally, if you work for the UAE, of course, fiat relationships come into play here. But to be invited to sit down at the table, make at least one 15-minute call scheduled through Linkedin. And then you can discuss your startup in detail over a cup of Karak tea ??
